In October 2023, I was commissioned by Creative Lancashire to complete print designs for an article within the 2023 British Textile Biennial, 'Conversations in Creativity' publication.

The prints took inspiration from 3 Hip Hop album sleeves, to connect to Black History Month's theme for 2023 (Saluting Our Sisters), and Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary:

• Little Simz – Sometimes I might be Introvert

• Queen Latifah – Nature of a Sista 

• Madvillain - Madvillainy

The three illustrations were also reproduced as art prints and pin badges as gifts for Textile Biennial Speakers.
One of each print was collected by photographer and artist Vanley Burke for the archive he overseas with Christine Checinska at the V&A.
